According to the journal's homepage, it "is consulted by 55% of staff members on U.S. congressional committees of jurisdiction in health — ahead of JAMA and the New England Journal of Medicine". Health Affairs is indexed and/or abstracted in PubMed, Medline, EBSCOhost, EBSCO EJS, ProQuest, Lexis-Nexis; Current Contents/Health Sciences and Behavioral Sciences; and SwetsWise Online Content.
